Music is personal — your table mates never hear it, voice chat sends only your mic. Pick a built-in track above and raise the slider, or play Spotify in another tab (desktop) / the Spotify app alongside the browser (Quest); it keeps playing in VR. Tile calls are Annie's recorded voice, with the device's Chinese voice as fallback.
Host's table rules — while you're at a friend's table the host sets these, and they update here live.
Payouts: win pays 2^(tai−1) points per share. Self-draw: everyone pays double (6 shares). Discard win: 4 shares — split, or all from the shooter. Kong on sight: 1 point from each player. Holding both your seat flower AND seat season pays 1 point from everyone (2 if both were dealt). Animal bites (cat+rat, rooster+centipede) pay 1 from everyone, or 2 if both animals were dealt. All eight flowers, or seven with the eighth drawn by anyone, wins outright. Scores are counted in chips at the table's chips-per-point rate. At a shared table the host's rules apply to everyone.
Hong Kong rules: 144 tiles (no animals), fan instead of tai, 3-fan minimum by default, 13-fan limit. Win pays by the 半辣上 table per share — 3 fan = 8, 4 = 16, 5 = 24, 6 = 32, 7 = 48, 8 = 64, up to 13 = 384 points. Self-draw, concealed hand, no flowers, seat flower and seat/prevailing wind pongs are 1 fan each; all pongs and mixed one suit 3; small dragons 5; small winds 6; pure one suit 7; great dragons 8; all honours 10; great winds, pure terminals, thirteen orphans and heavenly hand are limit. Flowers do not pay instantly.
